Mari has been a critical care nurse for over 20 years, 13 years as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She has had the privilege of serving various populations utilizing her Advance Nurse Practitioner degree and training. As far back as she could remember, she had a passion for providing healing and comfort to those around her. Her career has spanned from her home state’s only Reginal Level 1 Trauma Center, flight and critical care transport nursing, critical care intensivists, specializing in trauma, neurological and medical care, home health care and most recently providing care to the most critically ill individuals within Denver. She has also developed several Advance Practice Models for Critical Care Nurse Practitioners for inpatient settings.

Mari grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico and received both her Bachelors and Masters from the University of New Mexico. She transplanted to Colorado in 2014, where she continued her practice in Critical Care. She is excited to join the Veros Health Team allowing her to anticipate individual patient care needs, by utilizing her critical and analytical reasoning, a true entity for the practice.

In her free time, she enjoys camping with her family, cooking, fishing, yoga, and paddle boarding.
